Arizona U.S. Sen. John McCain joined Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel along the campaign trail Tuesday, holding a brief news conference at the Ontario Victory Center, which is serving as Richland County Republican Party Headquarters.

Sen. McCain stopped in Ontario to thank volunteers who are working hard to elect Mitt Romney as president, saying he is clearly the man to turn the country around.

Mandel is touring the state, rallying support for his U.S. Senate bid against incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown.

Earlier in the day, Sen. McCain and Republican National Committee National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus attended storm relief and volunteer appreciation events across Ohio, encouraging people to support the Red Cross who are aiding disaster victims along the East Coast.
