The METRICH Enforcement Unit held its annual end of the year meeting Wednesday at the Holiday Inn in downtown Mansfield.

The event brings partners together from local, state and federal levels, to show them what the METRICH drug task force has done the past year, and what goals and objectives they have for the upcoming year.

Mansfield Police Chief Dino Sgambellone said the goal for 2013 will remain the same as 2012, which is focusing on removing heroin and pharmaceutical drugs.

METRICH has earned a reputation of safe and effective drug policing and law enforcement.

Sgambellone says they are very proud of the work they've been able to do throughout the 10 north central Ohio counties they represent.

This marks the 26th year for the unit's annual meeting.
