Elementary students celebrated Mass for All Saints Day held Thursday morning at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mansfield.

Father Thomas McQuillen says All Saints Day is a feast day in the Catholic church where they commemorate all of the Saints in heaven.

As is done each year, fourth grade students at St. Peter's dress up as their favorite Saint.

Father McQuillen says many of the Saints the students pick are special to them.

He says they may have been named after those Saints and the students have the choice of picking another Saint if they like when they receive the sacrament of confirmation.
