The Children's Cupboard Southside Outreach in Mansfield is collecting food for needy families.

Two food drives are being conducted, with the first one for Thanksgiving.

Children's Cupboard Director Pam Rembert says they need turkeys, stuffing, and all the trimmings for a Thanksgiving dinner.

The second food drive, for Christmas, begins with the fifth annual Appreciation and Fundraising Banquet, November 17th at five pm at the Mansfield Holiday Inn.  The event will include a silent auction and live entertainment. 

To donate food, go to the Children's Cupboard Outreach at 70 Hedges Street weekdays from ten a-m to two p-m, or to the rear section of the former Hedges School from three to six p-m.
