Toy Time is accepting applications through the end of this month, and taking donations of toys and cash, to help needy families this Christmas.

Volunteers are working on cleaning toys at the North Diamond Street headquarters, while Volunteer Coordinator Tina Thompson appeals for the public's help.

She says the greatest need for toys is those for boys and girls in the 10 to 12 age range.

They also need more volunteers to help clean and repair toys.

Hale's Harley-Davidson will send a shipment of toys to Toy Time tomorrow, accompanied by Santa Claus and fifty motorcycle drivers.

The red Toy Time barrels are in businesses all over Richland County, and toys can be dropped-off at any fire station.

Toy distribution is Saturday and Sunday, December 15th and 16th from nine am and two pm each day.
