A new middle school will finally be built in the Ashland City School District. Voters passed a 3-point-7-mill lbond issue to construct a new middle school and elementary school on district owned property by attaining 56-percent of affirmative votes. The measure passed on the seventh try but Ashland Schools Supt. Dr. Doug Marrah says that doesn't matter even if it was the 17th try. Along with the new middle school and elementary school, a new auditorium will be built at the high school to replace McDowell Auditorium. |
