No one was injured when a car sideswiped a pickup truck at the intersection of Ohio 314 and Ohio 97 around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Trooper Brandon Ruhl of the Mansfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says a female driving the car was eastbound on Ohio 97 and failed to yield to a northbound pickup on Ohio 314.

Trooper Ruhl says they've seen a number of accidents at that particular intersection in the past and he feels drivers need to take that extra second or two to make sure then look both ways before pulling into the intersection.

A third vehicle was struck by flying debris from the initial impact in the accident which remains under investigation.
