Children of all ages on Thursday were getting into the spirit of Thanksgiving at the Mansfield-Richland County Public Library's Make-It-Take-It program.

Children's librarian Mary Johnson said the children participated in making two crafts this year.

"The first craft is a paper towel tube that is going to be a turkey with feathers and a pilgram hat. The second craft is a picture of a turkey with no feathers and the children will glue feathers on the turkey," Johnson said.

Johnson said the December programs for children include Tree Ornament Make-It-Take-It, Gingerbread Houses and Christmas in the Cabin at Pugh Cabin at Malabar Farm.
