This holiday season will feature a first-of-its-kind attraction on the roof of the former Dollar Theater near Sears on the west end of the Richland Mall.

The Holiday Lights Spectacular is being set-up by Mid-State Multimedia Group, for a month-long run of free nightly shows.

They begin Black Friday and run every night through Christmas night.

The light shows will be synchronized with holiday music being broadcast on WVNO MIX 106 FM and 99.3 FM, The Light.

The shows on MIX 106 start at 5:20 pm, and run every hour through midnight.  The shows on The Light start at 5:43 pm and also run every hour through midnight.

The special attraction is for your entertainment, and for a good cause.  Mid-State Multimedia Group General Manager Rob Meisse says donations will be accepted for the Nephcure Foundation, which is research a cure for two kidney diseases.

Meisse says, as the only remaining locally-owned media company, Mid-State Multimedia constantly seeks ways to serve the community.

And he believes the Holiday Lights Spectacular will be a favorite Christmas season event this year, and for years to come.
