Young and old alike marveled at all the colorful attractions of the 10th Annual Downtown Mansfield Christmas Parade this past weekend.

A number of floats loaded with children handing out candy ran up and down the parade route, along with walking units of local organizations and church groups.

There were also mounted horse units and a group dressed up as toy soldiers.

Hundreds of onlookers could be found waving to those involved in the parade and waited anxiously to catch a glimpse of Jolly Old Saint Nick himself.

Santa Claus didn't disappoint, as he rode atop the Mansfield Fire Department's Ladder Truck, waving to the masses below him as the parade wound up.

It was sponsored this year by Downtown Mansfield Incorporated, along with McDonald's restaurants and Buckeye Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.

Many of the downtown merchants were open for business following the parade and the Tiny Tim Shoppe officially opened up for the holiday season as well.
