Free Thanksgiving Day Meals

 Several area churches and organizations will be serving free Thanksgiving meals Thursday, Nov. 22.

Meals will be served at the following locations;  Providence Baptist Church, 112 W. Sixth St., 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; St. Peter's High School cafeteria,  104 W. First St., 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be no home delivery this year; First United Methodist Church, 12 S. Diamond St. from 1 to 3 p.m.; New Jerusalem Progressive Church, 709 Burns St., 2 p.m. until the food is gone; Friendly House,  380 N. Mulberry St., 1 to 6 p.m., The dinner is sponsored by the Candice Williams Helping Hands Foundation. For meal delivery and rides contact Teresa Williams at 419-961-8334; and First Lutheran Church, 33 Broadway, Shelby from noon to 2 p.m.
 

On Friday, Nov. 23, the First Lutheran Church, 127 S. Columbus St. in Galion will host their second annual free Thanksgiving dinner from 5 to 8 p.m.
