Richland County Transit buses will run the four Saturdays in December before Christmas to help shoppers get to their favorite stores.

The buses will run December first, eighth, fifteenth, and twenty-second from ten a-m to four-thirty pm, with all regular routes in effect except for Lahm Airport.

Fiscal Officer Kathy Adams says the Park Avenue West bus will go to WalMart, and the West Fourth Street bus will go to Meijer.  There will be a circulator bus running along Lexington-Springmill Road to take shoppers to all of the stores.

An RCT bus will also make two round-trips between Shelby and Ontario on those four Saturdays.

And, this special service is free.

Adams says the goal is to attract new riders to RCT.
