A maintenance worker lost his left arm when it became caught in a conveyor belt Tuesday afternoon at Clear Fork Ski Resort in Butler. Worthingtown Township Fire Chief Randy Johnson says rescue squads arrived to find the man in a pit where he had been working on the conveyor belt. He also suffered a badly cut lip. Johnson says they got the man stabilized during the ambulance ride to Snow Trails, where he was placed into a medical helicopter and flown to an Akron hospital. Russell Watts of Butler is in serious condition in the intensive care unit of Akron General Hospital. |
