No results changed from the Nov. 6 General Election after official results were certified Tuesday by the Richland County Board of Elections.

Deputy Elections Director Bill Freytag says the board shows an unofficial count on election night then adds in ballots that may have come in which were postmarked prior to election day but are still within the 10-day grace period.

Freytag says to the unofficial count, they added 1,767 additional ballots from different catergories such as military, absentees and provisionals.

Freytag says none of the races changed with the closest being the Mansfield City Schools failed 9.9-mill renewal levy which picked up about 20 yes votes but not enough to pass the issue or enough to require a recount.
