Last year, St. Peter's Catholic Church served more than 1,000 people during its Thanksgiving Meal for those in need.

This year marks 20 years of serving the meal that includes all the fixings for a perfect Thanksgiving Day feast.

A traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, harvest cake, and cranberry sauce
was served, followed by a variety of homemade desserts.

Each guest was able to take home their place mat, which was made by St. Peter's elementary school students.

The Mansfield community continues to give this holiday season.

Thursday, the Candice Williams Helping Hands Foundation, hosted its 8th Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner at the Friendly House in Mansfield.

The dinner also included live entertainment and a silent auction.
