The Come Home to Galion celebration is this Saturday and this year's event will offer something for everyone.

"It's centered around the uptown square area," City Manager Gene Toy said. "There's a lot of music up at the square, an ice carving, just neat Christmas type stuff."

The celebration will begin at 1 p.m. with open houses at the library and Brownella Cottage.

There will also be carriage rides from the library, food on the square, and a visit with Santa at the Santa House.

The parade will kick-off at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Tree Lighting ceremony at 5:45 p.m.
