Four Arrested In Parole And Probation Sweep

Four people were arrested Thursday following a parole sweep conducted by members of Richland County's Comunity Policing, Probation, Parole Partnership, the Ashland County Sheriff's Office, Ashland Police Department and Ashland Municipal Court. During the course of the operation 29 officers checked 10 bars and 48 residences with 39 contacts being made with offenders or other household members. The operation also resulted in three drug violations. The operation was conducted to insure that all offenders in Richland and Ashland County comply with the terms of their probation. Probation officer Jason Hoover said two offenders were located after leaving a bar, both subjects were arrested, the driver for OVI and open container and the passenger for open container. Both were also arrested for violating the terms of their probation. Hoover said the other offenders were arrested for felony warrants.
