The Mansfield Tygers gave new coach Johntory Reese his first win as a varsity head coach in as many games on Friday evening as Senior High stopped Lima Senior 77-67.  Mansfield led by as many as 18 points in the first quarter and were led by Donovyn Benson with 22 points, as the Tygers placed two other players in double digit scoring with Robert Jones knocking down 15 points and Keon Johnson 12.  Johnson now needs 66 points to reach 1,000 in his career. 

Lima Senior got an outstanding performance from Devon Allen who scored 27 points, Damariante' Dillingham was next for the Spartans with 14.  Of note, the Tygers shot as many field goals as they did foul shots with 49.  From the line Mansfield was 35 of 49 for 71%.  From the field Mansfield was 20 of 49 for 41%.  Lima shot 24 of 63 for 47%.  From the line the Spartans were 13 of 18 for 71%.
