Area residents had the opportunity to take self-guided tours of several distinctive and historic homes located in the Woodland neighborhood this past weekend.

The first-ever Heritage Home Tour was sponsored by Downtown Mansfield Inc., the Woodland Club and Haring Realty.

Downtown Mansfield Co-Director Jamie Thompson says one of the oldest homes in the Woodland neighborhood is located at 501 Woodhill Road.

The cost of the tour was $25 with proceeds benefitting the ongoing neighborhood development activities in downtown Mansfield and to the Woodland Club.
