A new event held in southern Richland County is being sponsored by the Malabar Farm Foundation.

Holiday's Around the World and Back Home to Malabar allows visitors to travel by horse-drawn wagons to tour Louis Bromfield's Big House and meet special guests Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

Malabar Farm Foundation Special Events Coordinator Victoria Cochran says she hopes visitors come away with a better understanding of Malabar Farm and how very unique and special it is.

Guests also enjoyed a special buffet of foods and drinks from around the world and were given a commemorative ornament and a copy of recipes.
