Ashland welcomed a new business into town Monday.

The ribbon was cut for Bo Lacey Construction at 408 Cleveland Avenue.

The company was founded in Greenwich, but after Lacey died, his son Kevin and  business partner Jon Qualls decided to move.

They have ties to Ashland because they played football together at Ashland University.

The company specializes in roofing, siding, and windows and employs about 25 people.

Kevin Lacey says they're always hiring, and a motivation factor for moving to Ashland was its strong workforce.

Bo Lacey Construction moved into what was originally a house built in the 1860's.

Lacey and Qualls invested $10,000 for renovations.
