Two people were injured when a couple of vans collided shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and the U.S. 250 bypass in Ashland.

Police say a van driven by Misti Stalnaker, 39, of Ashland, was heading north on Cleveland Avenue when it failed to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign.

Her van collided with a westbound van on U.S. 250 driven by Patricia Lehman, 69, of Bellville.

Stalnaker and Lehman were both taken to Ashland Samaritan Hospital.

Stalnaker was cited for a stop sign violation.
