The Plymouth Area Historical Society held its annual Elf Shop over the weekend at the Plymouth Heritage Center and Museum on at 7 East Main Street. This marks the tenth year for the event which raises funds for the museum. Children 10 and under had the opportunity to shop with the help of Santa's elves. Gifts were $2 and wrapped for free by volunteers. Historical Society president Nancy McClure said this is a great event for the entire community. The Plymouth Heritage Center and Museum is open May through September on the fourth weekend of each month. McClure said the museum displays include artifacts which highlight the historical past of Plymouth and products manufactured by The Fate Root Heath Company.
