The Mansfield Planning Commission has approved a new Dollar General store to be constructed at 450 Springmill Street, at the corner of Bowman Street. Alex Phelan of the civil engineering firm, Hurley and Stewart, says the store will be 9100 square feet and will employ 11 people. The planning commission approved several variances to make room for the thirty-space parking lot and make sure traffic flows smoothly into and out of it. Phelan expects construction to start in two months, and be completed three months later. |
