Robbery At Directions Credit Union, Suspect On The Loose

Wednesday marked the third bank robbery in three weeks in Mansfield.

The Directions Credit Union at 460 S. Diamond Street, was robbed just after 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Police were quick to arrive, after receiving a hold-up alarm. 

Witnesses say a black male entered the bank and demanded money.

Details are still unclear, but police believe the suspect said he had a gun, but didn't show it.
The robber's described as a black male, 5'10, 170 pounds, and wearing dark clothing.  

Mansfield Police Det. John Wendling says they believe the suspect left in a car.  Wendling says they believe they know who it is, but are not releasing a name or any further information.
