The Richland County Board of Developmental Disabilities on Wednesday approved its 2013 budget of about $23-million.

Richland Newhope Superintendent Liz Prather says its a slight increase from this year's budget with some of that due to due to some additional responsibilities by taking over a transitions waiver.

Board member and past president James Hull was also honored for serving the past four years.

Prather says he's a very dedicated board member who has been supportive of all their endeavors and will be missed.
