Commissioners Approve Domestic Violence Advocate Contract

The Richland County Commissioners approved a new one-year contract with the Domestic Violence Shelter Thursday. The proposal was presented by Youth and Family Council Director Teresa Alt. The advocate works with domestic violence victims and their children on navigating their way through the courts, and victim, shelter, and housing services. It takes effect January first. |
