Norwalk picked up their 29th consecutive regular season win with a 63-39 victory over Ontario Saturday night at the Ontario Holiday Classic.

The Truckers jumped out to a big first half lead behind 13 points from Jeff Thomas, taking a 30-17 advantage into the break. The Warriors shot just 28% from the floor in the opening half, while Norwalk took advantage of second chance opportunities with nine offensive rebounds.

In the third quarter Norwalk would blow the game wide open, outscoring Ontario 18-6 in the frame to take a 25-point lead into the fourth quarter at 48-23. The Warriors would outscore the Truckers 16-15 in the final eight minutes but it would be too little too late, as Norwalk cruised to their eighth win of the season.

The Truckers outshot Ontario for the game 24/58 to 14/47 and also outrebounded them 41-33.

Thomas finished the night with a game high 23 points to go along with 8 rebounds, while teammates Ben Haraway chipped in with 11 points and 7 assists and Trey Hallock added 8.

Brandon Wagner led the Warriors in scoring with 8 points, Tyler Boatwright had 7, Cam Mack and Blake Balogh each each finished with 6.

Ontario fell to 6-2 with the loss and will next face Wynford Friday, December 28, Norwalk improved to 8-0 and will travel to Bellevue.
