$20,000 Donation Will Fund Foreign Language Intitiative

The Galion Community Education Foundation is donating $20,000 to the Galion City School District to help fund a Foreign Language Initiative in the intermediate school.
  

Students in grades 4 and 5 are being introduced to multicultural topics and the Spanish language.
 

The organization will present the donation at the Galion and Colonel Crawford boys basketball game Friday tonight.
 

The Galion Community Education Foundation is a 501c3 organization. Their mission is to support educational, social, cultural and economic growth.
