Lex Overcomes Strong Warrior Start

Ontario started their game with Lexington strong blowing out to a 20-0 lead, before Lexington answered back with a run of their own of 15-0 to climb back into the game enroute to a 58-50 win on the road.  The Minutemen pulled to within one at 25-24 at the half , then outscored the Warriors in the second half 34-25 to gain their sixth win of the season.

Lex was led in scoring by Mason Willeke with 15, Zach Temple was next with 12, Daniel Rinehart 10, while Bryan Truax scored nine.  Ontario was led by Wyatt Clemens with 11, Brandon Wagner eight, Blake Balogh and Lenell Shelby both had seven, Mitchell Phelps six.  The win improves Lexington to 6-3 on the season with the Minutemen hosting Ashland next Friday.  The loss drops Ontario to 7-3 with the Warriors traveling to Galion next Saturday.

Of note, Ontario was without the services of Cameron Mack who had been ejected the night before at Wynford in the Warriors 81-55 win over the Royals.
