The organization Gentlemen Making Good Financial Choices held its first-ever Youth Holiday Hoops Classic over the weekend at Malabar Middle School.

Organization chief executive officer Terrence Davison says the tournament was designed for first through third graders and fourth through sixth graders.

Davison says teams from Mansfield, Columbus, Lexington and Hillsdale participated in the event.

He says they hope to also begin new leagues and add other sporting events and will make the basketball tournament an annual event.
