Christmas at Kingwood Center, officially ended Sunday. The popular event started November 24 running through December 30!! Kingwood Center event coordinator Lisa Duckworth said the theme this year was "A Kaleidoscope of Holiday Colors" and featured trees and rooms decorated in different color schemes. Area Garden Clubs, Kingwood Staff and Volunteers prepared decorations to light up Kingwood Hall and the Greenhouse. The event featured surprise visits from Santa Claus and special concerts including a final performance by Kathy McMillan at the Steinway at Kingwood Hall. The garden clubs that helped to decorate Kingwood Hall offered their 'special' ornaments for sale in the Greenhouse along with free hot cocoa.
