If you're going to out party for New Year's Eve, either stay sober or don't drive.

The state highway patrol will be watching.

The Mansfield post will have ten troopers on the road, with their overtime paid with a federal grant, looking for revelers who've had too much holiday cheer.

Your best options for staying out of jail and court for a drunk driving arrest are to designate a driver or call a cab.

A first-time drunk driving conviction can carry a two-to-three-thousand dollar fine, a one-to-two month driver's license suspension with a hefty reinstatement fee, and up to six months in jail.
