Lex Holds off Ashland

With 6.6 seconds to play and Lexington leading 56-55, Ashland's Issac White drove the left baseline only to have his runner from eight feet come up short with Lex's Mason Willeke grabbing the rebound was fouled and hit both shots at the other end with 1.7 seconds left to give the Minutemen a 58-55 win over the Arrows. 

Ashland led early 6-0, but after Lexington grabbed the lead at 16-12 after one quarter and the Arrows were never able to regain the lead.  Ashland put three players in double figures Trey Smith with 13, Issac White had 12, Trey Smith 11, Willie Moore eight.  Lexington's Mason Willeke had a game high 23 points with Zach Temple getting ten and Bryan Truax eight.

The win gives Lexington an overall record of 7-3 and 3-1 in the OCC, while Ashland drops to 6-4 overall and 2-3 in conference.
