The Loudonville-Mohican Chamber of Commerce has a new president.

Lynette Piper succeeds Marilyn Byers and begins her first full week as the head of the organization this week.

Piper is a resident of nearby Butler but formerly worked for the past 16 years in the CES Credit Union office in Loudonville.

She has been a member of the Loudonville Chamber for five years and served on its board of directors one of a two-year term.
