MedCare Ambulance has opened up a new branch in Ashland at 122 West Washington Street.

MedCare is a nonprofit ambulance service available 23 hours a day that provides people with non-emergency transportation and is part of OhioHealth and Ohio State University.

The Ashland office will officially open at the end of the month but the transportation service already is active.
