The annual Dash to the Goal to support the United Way of Richland County will be held this coming Friday, Jan. 11.

The one-day event is designed for area residents to contribute monetary support by making a donation from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. in Mansfield at Kroger at 1400 Lexington Avenue, Graham Automall at 1515 West Forth Street, and the News Journal at 70 West Fourth Street.

Residents can also donate at any location of Advantage Credit Union, Directions Credit Union, FirstMerit Bank, Key Bank, Richland Bank, Chase Bank, First Federal Bank, Mechanics Bank and Sutton Bank.

WMFD-TV and Mix-106.1, WVNO-FM is collaborating with the News Journal and other local media to publicize the event
