Luke's Country Meats in Mansfield is staying busy as white-tailed deer muzzleloader season wraps up in Ohio. Owner Luke Hockensmith says overall processing is still down a little from previous years, but muzzleloader season has picked it back up. Hockensmith says when it comes to meat processing, they can make whatever you want. "We can do a standard cut steak, burgers, and we can make bologna, jerky, snack sticks venison ham" Hockensmith said. "If you want it, we can make it for you." White-tailed deer muzzleloader season kicked off January 5, and ends Tuesday in Ohio. |
