The Madison Local Schools Board of Education held its annual organizational meeting for 2013 Wednesday night.

Supt. Lee Kaple said the school year is going very well and progress is being made on  the new junior high school that will be located on the former site of Wooster Heights Elementary School. The project is expected to be completed by February, 2014.

In other business, the board re-elected Jeff Meyers as President of the school board and John Luedy as Vice President.
