The reason there's a lot of unanswered questions about the stabbing death of a Lexington High School graduate, is because the other young man involved is yet to be questioned as to what happened December, 19th.

According to University of Toledo Chief of Police Jeff Newton, 19-year-old Erik Littleton who survived the stabbing, was unable to speak due to his injuries.

20-year-old Josiah Galat, died of two stab wounds, one to each side of his neck.  His death has been ruled a homicide, however university officials are urging parents and students to understand that does not mean a murder took place.

According to the police report, a "hunting knife" was recovered from the scene, who it belonged to has not been released.

The report also stated another man was found on the scene that day. 18-year-old Alexander Vogel, of Toledo, was reportedly found naked and agitated when police arrived.

Newton says Vogel was in a dorm room at the time the stabbing took place in a stairway a few floors below.

Both Galat and Littleton made it out an exit. Littleton was able to get to the street where passersby noticed the injured man. Galat, however, was found outside the door, where he died.

Whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the dispute is not being released at this time.  Toxicology reports will answer that question in the next few weeks.

Newton confirmed Josiah Galat's University of Toledo identification badge was found on Littleton, though authorities aren't sure why at this time.

Newton also believes the blood evidence "should tell what happened" that day.

The University of Toledo police department and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation is involved in the case and are reviewing camera evidence that could help in the investigation.
