An investigation into a Mansfield woman's death is underway by police detectives.

The death of Jenny Ponn, 64, at her home at 655 Woodhill Road is being looked at following a 9-1-1 call shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday.

Police say because of some questions they had related to the scene, the death is being classified as being under investigation pending the results of an autopsy and other evidence taken from the home.

Ponn formerly worked as a paraprofessional at Mansfield Senior High School, but recently resigned to care for her elderly mother.

Her body was taken to the Summit County Medical Center where an autopsy was to be performed on Monday.
