Two people face felony charges after the METRICH Drug Task Force found methamphetamine being manufactured at 425 Sherwood Drive in Mansfield. Detectives went to the house Monday to investigate citizen complaints of meth being made and used in the presence of a child. A meth lab was found upstairs, and the occupants of the house were evacuated while two meth specialists processed the scene and the Mansfield Fire Department stood by. Detectives also found products used to make meth in the back yard. 26-year-old Lucas Conrad and 26-year-old Brittany Bassett were arrested on third-degree felony charges of Illegal Manufacturing of Meth and Child Endangering. A 17-month-old and an infant were released to a relative. |
