The Ashland County Commissioners on Thursday recognized the Ashland County Child Support Enforcement Agency for winning an award from the state for its current support collections.

Child Support Agency Supervisor Dana Gillespie says Ashland County has had the biggest increase in collections for the first three months of the new fiscal year, from October through December.

Gillespie says her agency had more than a 9 percent increase in total obligation child support collections for the last three months of 2012 compared to a year earlier.
