The Ashland County Commissioners will continue to keep a watchful eye on the county's investments this year after receiving the latest quarterly report.

Ashland County Treasurer Cindy Funk on Thursday told the commissioners the county's interest income received last year was down 31t and she's forecasting it to be down about $65,000 this year.

The commissioners also heard an update regarding the Community Improvement Program grant from Dale Hartle, president of the Ohio Regional Development Corporation.

Hartle says the program is designed to help low-to-moderate income families with their housing needs such as minor or major renovations as well as a component to help renters with their utility payments.
