Rock n Fossil Day was held over the weekend at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center on Ohio 598 outside of Crestline.

Tom Kottyan, a member of the Richland Lithic and Lapidary Society, gave a presentation titled "Florescent Minerals: Discover the Beauty Within." The group provided a special exhibit of florescent rock.

The highlight of the event was Pallasite Meteorite displayed at the Nature Center.

National Lime and Stone sponsored the geology exhibit and donated fossils for the porch of the nature center.
