The Madison Rams (1-12, 0-8) have been playing better, that's good, but not winning, that's not good.  When Madison went up against rival Mansfield Senior the first time around, the Rams were run over 76-27.  Last Saturday the second time around, the game was much closer 66-55, and while coach Tim Mergel has seen his team get better he hopes that will mean a few W's will follow.

Mergel says for some of his younger players the game has started to slow down as the Rams start to go through the OCC the second time around.  Madison has three sophomores who are seeing varsity time in Coy Vantilburg, Austin Finley and Alec Keen.  Two freshman have also seen varsity time in Zane Harris and Bill Buckley.  The Rams will face Lexington and Clear Fork for the second time this season.  Lex and the Colts won the first time the two teams met by scores of 51-42 and 65-47.
