At 11-2 overall, the Mansfield Christian Flames boys basketball team will try for their sixth straight win on Saturday as they travel to South Central to play the 5-10 Trojans.  Without a conference to play in and having won five in a row, the Flames are looking to finish the season strong and prep for the upcoming tournament, with an eye on a potential tournament foe, Buckeye Central.

Coach John Kurtz says he has beefed up the schedule with teams like Col.Crawford, another potential tournament foe, Sparta Highland, Hillsdale, Clear Fork, Loudonville, Plymouth and New London all in hopes of getting Mansfield Christian ready for teams they may see come tournament.  The Flames have four games before they see the Bucks, who heading into this weekend have won six out of their last seven and stand at 8-6 in all games, 6-1 in the NCC Silver Division.
