The Buckeye Central boys basketball team has put themselves in a position where they control their own destiny in the NCC, as they prep for a big road game Saturday evening at Ontario (11-4, 7-0).  The Bucks go into the game strong having won seven out of their last eight and five straight, the latest a 54-37 win at Crestline to stand at 9-6 and 7-1 in conference.

Coach Phil Loy was happy with the win but says the team maybe did not give as good an effort as they should have.  Loy says the team has hung their hat on defense all season and they will need an excellent effort on Saturday at Ontario.  The Bucks lead the Silver Division of the NCC at 7-1, while the Warriors lead the Black Division of the conference at 7-0.
