No one was seriously injured when two sport utility vehicles collided around 1:30 p.m. Sunday at a five-point intersection in northern Ashland County.

The accident happened at the intersection Ashland County Road 500 and Ohio 89 and Ohio 58.

The Ashland post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Ashland County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, along with rescue squads from nearby Sullivan and Polk.

The patrol says one SUV was traveling east on County Road 500 and failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection, colliding with the other SUV which flipped over onto its side.

The accident remains under investigation.
