Fire Damages Office At Carver's Auto Repair

The office area of Carver's Auto Repair at 169 West Longview Avenue in Mansfield was badly damaged by a fire Saturday night.

Mansfield Fire Department officials say a faulty electrical outlet in the office caught fire, damaging paper materials, computers, a microwave and a refrigerator.

Charles Kegley, a resident living in an upstairs apartment, alerted firefighters to the blaze after smelling smoke and dialing 9-1-1.

No injuries were reported.
